The International Thespian Society (ITS) is a division of the Educational
Theater Association (EdTA). ITS is an honorary organization designed to recognize the work of middle school and high
school theater programs both in the United States and abroad. Membership is based on a point system that revolves around
the time commitment of each student to the theatrical arts. As a member of ITS students not only receive national recognition
for their hard work but are also eligible for the annual Thespian Festival. The BOHS Drama Department is registered
with ITS and the EdTA as Thespian Troupe #5287.
